Ben Litchfield & Lisa FasuloLisa comes from one of Bedford's reputatable cooking families, with her father Vittorio Fasulo providing food for most of Bedford's Italian weddings during the 1980's/1990's. Lisa and her sister then ran a local coffee shop in Mill Yard for a number of years. After meeting Ben, ten years ago, they both had a yearning to set up their own resturant and make it Bedford's most sort after Italian restaurant. After years of talking about it and becoming an avid chef in his spare time, Ben's job as a professional dog handler was taking him away from the family home for weeks at a time and they sat down and decided a new quality of life was needed so why not live their dream. La Fontana is this dream and everyone is welcome to share it! |
